I've booked my SL320 in for an A service.

Originally the dealer wanted £246. I said that was too expensive and she came back with a price of £223. I said it was still too expensive and asked for a further discount. She came back with £191 as there was a couple of things that weren't checked on a previous occassion. I did try a further 10%, but no go.

What I would like to know is, do you guys think this is a good price or not?

£191 is that plus VAT, if its just air filter £10.46 and oil filter £9.61, sump plug O ring 39p oil £50 + vat then the rest is labour.

I think some one is having a lend of you on the oil prices. 8 litres of Magnatec $62.00Aus. I think that should be approx 31 English pounds.

10 litres of Mobil 1 will cost just under £100.

I wouldn't pay that for a glorified oil change. :(

Well I think it's a fine price for an SL, assuming the dealer does everything correctly.

I got one on my R171 for £81.00, plus a free taxi ride home and back to pick it up? However, I did supply all my own parts, Mobil one from Costco £23.00 for 4 Ltrs, it takes 5 and a bit, so the rest was put in the boot, oil filter £6.00 Sump washer I had one of these.
