Hi, As a new member I would like to ask your advice !!
Could anybody help me.
I have a set of right hand drive headlights in perfect condition, to fit SL320 1994 car
I would to swap if possible, for a set of Left hand drive headlights for use in France and Europe.
If not available could anybody advise where I can buy a sensibly priced set.
I have posted twice since joining the forum, but nobody has replied,
I am feeling lonely out here, this is my first Merc and it is wonderful,
somebody please advise me !!
best regards
Peter

Also welcome from me,,your best bet must be Ebay on germany or france if there is one.

Then you can sell your others on Ebay or here on the forum

Hi Peter,

It all depends on how long you plan living in France. I took a Peugeot 205 to the Netherlands for 2 years. I bought the left hand drive lights and stored the originals (partly for convenience, partly because there was no market for them there).

On return to the UK I reinstalled the originals. I then got more than the original cost for the LHD set, which I knew I would never use again. ;-)

LH Headlamps !

Hi Peter, I am also new to the forum,
I have an SL320 and faced the same problem moving to France, unable to source any headlamps anywhere even on Ebay (G). Just had new Xenon lamps fitted at a cost of 2900 euros, (ouch) Only other possibility is the following web site, which have some reasonably priced Halogen lights if that’s the type fitted to your car.
