Gummi order has been placed. Arrives next Tuesday. Will be back with more info once I have completed the clean and lubrication. Thanks for the advice from everyone. Greatly appreciated.

Maybe you could give our big meet at Duxford some thought if you still have problems, I will be there and many other 230's

Hi Malcolm, so I ordered the Gummi and after spending an afternoon in the sun cleaning the seals and applying the gummi I thought it had solved the problem. We didn't have much rain until late winter and low and behold the leak is back. However now it is not coming down in the same place. You will recall previously it was dripping down on the large black hinges of the rear window, instead the rubber seal along the top of the driver window is now soaking wet! God knows where the water is going from there. There is enough that as soon as I start driving the car the windows mist up. An thoughts?

Without going back through the exchanges have you reset the windows? For water to soak the felt lined channel above the window would indicate the glass isn't far enough into the seal

If you mean rolling both windows down, then back up, holding the buttons in the up position for about 3 seconds then yes. Windows seem to lock up when the door closes just fine.

Thought I would bump this. Still have water coming into the car and maybe I'm missing something glaringly obvious. Is there anyone that would take a look? Happy to drive far and wide.

Duxford meet is this Sunday? Maybe go along and see if the collective wisdom of those assembled can spot it?

Damm! I would have been there in a heart beat but it's going into the mechanic on Monday. The crankshaft sensor failed yesterday and the car is currently sitting on the driveway!!! You've got to love these cars to stick with them. Thank you nonetheless for the heads up. Are there any other meets/gathering coming up?

CPS is a relatively easy fix. Had my 210 one fail just after I bought it. £50 and 20 mins (in the rain!) and job done.
