Hi all,

Thinking about removing the rear box on the sl and having stainless twin pipes back from the actuator to twin tailpipes, anyone ever done this and will it be to loud. Your advice would be appreciated.

It is the resonance in the pipes that you have to be careful of, so that it does not pass through a band where it is really loud.

The engine in you car is quite good in this respect,,why not un bolt just one and try a piece of pipe,,copper pipe is effective

Any stainless steel exhaust expert worth his salt should be able to tune the new exhaust to a note you are happy with
