Morning Guys!

Well got a reply from MB yesterday say extremely sorry that SL 500 has not met my expectation ,and that they have open a investigation file and have contacted the relevant contact partner in order to investigate further, they say their investigation can take time and ask for my patience in this matter so they can review the details and provde a appropriate response.

All my comments noted

From so guy called: Mike Walsh (Case Manager)

So what do you think will they do anything over these Boot seals or water coming in the foot well due to blocked drain???????

Mark;)

Morning Mark,I for one await the outcome on your car, and to see if they do anything. Yes, the cost of the seals is horrendous as was the charge for the heater drain.

You would have thought that with the seals,a manufacturing fault / design issue they would have been more tollerent on the prices, after all they are using the modified seals on all of the new cars.

I know that rubber seals on all SL's right from the SL190 have been expensive back in the 60's.
