SL55 seat problems

I have an SL55 and the various pneumatic functions (lumbar support, massage etc.) have stopped working on both front seats. The solenoids sound like they are functioning (can be heard with engine off). I suspect it maybe an air supply problem.

Does anyone have any tips?
Not sure if there is an air pump or whether it gets the supply from the compressor via a reservoir.

Any feedback appreciated.

I had this sort of problem on my 55CLK AMG....my problem was that the air tube running under the seat had worn...prob due to the seat been moved forward and back (not good in the design stakes!) On starting the car, a rush of air could just about be heard. Not saying this is your fault but perhaps one area to look.
