SL60 ownership pitfalls?

I am considering the aquisition of an SL60. The motivation is the middle aged need for a (fast) weekend toy which ideally should be an appreciating asset.
What common faults/ pitfalls should I look out for?
Any comments gratefully received!

Just make sure that everything works, they were good cars, I do not think that there is anything special to look out for

Isn't there something about misfires? Coil packs at a grand apiece? Or, as usual, am I talking poop!

Personally, I'd go for the V8 over the V12 but then I may be biased.....

ADS is the big one.

I agree it could be, but we have Richard Moakes who has now solved many when this fails, but some do not go wrong

The SL60 is a V8 ;)
