I have been reading about the possiblity to fit an SAP module to add Bluetooth to my car. It currently has the Nokia phone cradle fitted.
What I have seen is a socket where this cradle is, but mine doesn't seem to want to unplug, so I can't tell if there is actually a socket there, or just a connection straight to the cradle.
Has anyone done this modification before? Can I fit Bluetooth to my car?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I had the same issue on my 2003 E320. The nokia phone cradle is hard wired in and doesn't take a SAP. The answer was to buy a ViseeO from Comand-online. This fits in the existing cradle just like the nokia phone did,

It works - and will read your phone book and put it on the speedo or display screen. The steering wheel buttons work same as before.
