Hi everybody,

I have upgraded my 1986 Manual 190d 2 ltr to a 1987 190e 2ltr auto. Big step eh! My auto box is so smooooth except for when i select and deselect reverse with a warm box (ooeerr) then it feels like someone is hitting the back of my car with a sledge hammer. Anyone got any ideas???

Thanks for stopping by.

Can't understand why you would buy a merc and change gear yourself. The autos are the best in the world. Mercs are about comfort and quality, if you want a 'driving experience' buy a porsche or BM. Personally, I wouldn't have a manual one given.
