Hi Folks - nice site!
I took delivery of my SLK 200 last week and am really pleased with it following a 600 mile round trip to Durham at the weekend.
A couple of queries though!
I have the remote operation of the roof on the key and I am really disappointed with it. It only works if I hold the key a few inches away from the sensor in the door handle and any movement of my hand interrupts the operation. Is this how it is supposed to be? I was hoping it would work something like this . Has anyone used this Company and are they any good?
I can find no mention in the handbook on how to manually raise the roof in the event of mechanical/electrical failure. :-? Strange, I can envision getting caught in a storm and not being able to raise it!
Finally, I purchased the perspex wind deflector (off eBay, of course! ) and I can highly recommend it. At speeds in excess of 100 mph, or so I am told  , there is no buffeting at all.
