Every so often my direction indicators suddenly stop working - no warning lights, no dash telltale, nothing. This first happened on the way to an MB service so I asked them to look. All working OK once they came to investigate. Same thing happened on the way home - but operation returned after stopping and restarting the engine. This happened again yesterday. If it's relevant it has always been in the dark (headlights on) and raining (wipers in use) whenever it has happened.

Ideas welcomed please
