My passengers, partners,wife and girl friends, will insist on slamming the passenger door on my SLK when the roof is down. It shuts very easily as there is no air pressure cushion. Has anybody invented a "soft close" device to stop this. The next thing will be the door starting to rattle.

Sadly no such thing, had the same thing with my wife's car when we first had it to the point that on one occasion when she slammed the door the glass broke:sad: cost me £107.00 for the glass and took me a full morning to fit the glass - she now closes the door carefully!

It's really down to educating people to not slam the door :wink:
