SLK Gearbox oil change

Hello,
I have a 2001 SLK230 auto, I was wondering when the gearbox oil should be changed and what sort of job is it to do (any special tools etc)? I have spoken to MB and they don't list it as a service job but will do it for £210. Any advice will be most appreciated.

Yours is basically the same but you do not have a drain plug in the torque converter so can only remove 4 ltrs easily.
