Whats best for a R170? Thinking of changing the standard one for a SL style and adding projector headlamps

The headlamps are OEM xenons. There looks like a gap ap the top but its only the camera angle.

That looks like the same grille I put into mine, but mine came from California

As racall, I've fitted the Tech 55 grille too and it also came from Taiwan.

The quality is quite good, although not up to the 'brick sh*t-house' engineering quality of the original. Mine's been on the car for about ten months now and I have already noted some pitting in the chrome, especially of the lower horizontal (which probably doesn't get dried thoroughly after washing).

With postage it cost $169 off ebay - and didn't come with the Merc star, although you can use your old one.

This is my grille.

Don't know who's it is as it was on the car when I bought it. The guy I bought it from said he got it off Ebay though so it's probably one of the commonly available ones.
