Does anyone have the required info to remove the passenger's door trim, and window travel adjustment on my 99 SLK. The window requires adjusting as it is closing about 2mm to high and just catching the top roof rubber seal. Thanks.

I have sent you the door liner removal instructions, but for the last guy that had this fault I told him to insert a piece of cardboard along the top of the glass and do a re set, by holding up the switch closed for 10 sec in key 2.

Or use something the required thickness, and it worked

The adjustment for these is done without the trim removed. There are grommets on the very bottom of the door, enabling you to get to the end stops. The adjustment can only be made with the window down though, so you have to keep going up & down to get it right. If it's only 2mm, you will be OK. If it's more like 10mm then the end stop has come off the window itself, in which case, you'll have to take the door trim off:(
