I have just replaced the batteries in my key fob and I can open the car but the batteries have only lasted 24 hours before they will not open the car. They (2x2025) measure 2.98volts and this doesn't appear to be good enough to open the car. I have had to use my spare key but both fobs just open the drivers door. Is it the case I need a new keyfob for the one that drain it's batteries or can I reset this somehow. What can I do to enable the other door and boot to open?

Heloo Bob and welcome to the forum,,,I do not think that you have a key fault somehow. Is all of the central locking working and the roof.

I take it that you do not have a spare key

Press both the lock and unlock buttons on the fob simultaneously for approximately five seconds until the battery check lamp flashes twice.

Thankyou for the welcome I'm sure in the course of time we'll correspond often, back to my problem, I had the roof down at the weekend and that was the start of the keyfob problem, I didn't link them together. I have one well used key and one very new key which used to open all of the central locking but both keyfobs now only open the drivers door. I will try tonight to press both of the buttons on the fob. Thankyou for your thoughts it's good to feel your not alone

The key functions in two modes. One locks/unlocks the drivers door, the stowage compartment under the armrest, and the fuel filler flap only. The other does the same but includes the passenger door and the boot as well. You toggle between the two functions by doing the button press sequence I posted above.
