SLK LHD Headlamps

Hello, I'm a new member. I've just exported a 1999 SLK to France and need a set of LHD headlights to pass the contolé techniqué. Are there any good web-sites to visit with low cost options - thanks.

If you have xenon lamps you just move the lever underneath.

Malcolm,

I just imported a brand new LHD C180K Sport Coupe with Xenon lights. Should the levers apply to the headlights of this model. DVLA has turned down my application to register "as new".

I finger-felt some "wired" levers when I was investigating inside the headlamp case but I thought they would be the ones to fix the Xenon bulb rather than the levers to adjust the beam?

Any suggestion?

Any URL suggestion to find RHD headlamps to replace the LHD ones of my brand new LHD C180K Sport Coupe with Xenon headlights, in case I don't find a cheaper alternative.

You do not have to replace them, there is a ring that turns around the Lamp controled by a lever. Sorry I cant put up a picture, if you look at the lamp from the rear,take the lamp that has the large main lamp on the left, and smaller on the right. the back of the lamp has a warning label, with part number on it, to the left of this there is a slide lever that moves up and down, that's it.
