SLK replacement windscreen

MrsC. has cracked the windscreen on our 97 SLK when she got hit by a stone on the motorway.

Before I let the insurance company use the local "specilist" repairers is their anything I should know, in particular I wonder whether the screen is unusual because the car is a convertible.

The last thing I want is a cheap replacement that compromises the strength of the car if it is rolled.

The frame around the windscreen is made from high testile steel for protection in a roll over.

Unlike FH coupes and saloons, Cabriolets do not rely on windscreens for chassis ridgidity (ie part of the semi monocoque construction).

Thanks Pascal for a quick response. I take it then that this is a job that can be trusted to any "normal" replacement windscreen company.
