Hello
My SRI warning light / message is coming on intermittently (!) stating I must see a dealer immediately. The problem is the seat restraint fixings and belts appear to be fine, and as I say, it only comes on occasionally.

I have an MOT next week and although I have confidence in the seat belts passing muster, I don't want it to fail because an MOT engineer can see this warning light come on (it's bound to come on just when he looks).

Anyone had this problem before - and any suggestions?
Grateful of course.

This will mean a seat buckle rather then a sensor in a seat as the lamp is not always on.

With the ignition turned off, remove and clean with switch cleaner the plug with the yellow wires on the passenger seat. And see, it could be the switch in the buckle.
