After having some problems with the roof opening I was told by my MB dealer that the issues related to the hydraulic pump. I replaced the pump with a recon and solved the roof operation except on closing it fails to close the quarter and side windows. Any suggestions? It is a 1999 kompressor model R170. Thanks

The problem is that the pump sits in a foam box and get water in it and it ruins the circuit board. Is it dry?

Thanks for that. Never gave that a thought as it worked initially. After reading a few replys with similar problems I assumed it was probably a micro switch sensor issue. Where is the switch for the the final stage of closure located?
