The wife's SLK is coming up to 4 years since the last plug change. It's only covered 18K miles in that period. Do I really need to change them at this stage? Plugs are Bosch Super FR7KTC so they are not the Platinum type that are good for 50-60K miles.

I have changed at 50k approx on 3 V6s.

The old were as good as the new and noticed no difference in performance or MPG. I would take them out and clean, reset the gap and replace. Spend your money on something else.

I think that I would do the same:D:D
