SLK230 Steering wheel adjustment.

Hi,

I have recently had the tracking done on my SLK230 and now the steering wheel needs adjusting but I am not sure how to do this when there is an airbag fitted. Can anyone explain how to do this. Cheers, Marie

Hi
Dont touch the steering wheel.when they have adjusted the tracking they have done all the adjustment on one side which knocks the steering wheel out of line.If possible centre the steering wheel this will let you see how far it is out then adjust the track rod out one side, in on the other equally until the steering wheel is back in line when you are driving.May take you a couple of adjustments to get it spot on.
