The biggest news with this special version car is that the folding roof will go and the new one is made of fibre, being 45kg lighter and fixed.

The motor now gives out 40 more hp to 400 bhp from the alli V8 with new sports exhaust and modified air intake.

Larger disc with more air flow help to stop it,

Its 0.4 sec faster to 100km (62mph) now at 4.5sec, and the0- 200kmh time is 2sec faster.

All of this is coupled to the 7geared Speedshift 7G-tronic with control on the steering wheel.

Add 19" AMG wheels and sport seats, price will be around ! mil SEk that's about £71k.

I was thinking that as the fixed roof SL is the CL shouldn't the fixed roof SLK be a CLK. Or they could go back to SLC or SLKC in this case.
I'm Just messing with the MB alphabet.

The SL was always the soft/hard top car, the fixed roof version was the SLC, there are no other numbers.
