    Hi All

Hope its ok to post this (if not I do apologise please delete it)?

I'm trying to organise a meet over at SLKWorld for August 19th at Mercedes-Benz World Brooklands.

This is open to all MB owners.

    UK Meet SLKWorld August 19th

Be nice to see a variety of MB's there and to meet some new MB owners.

If I am in the UK on that date I can roll it in with a visit to my boys.

I will be there if there is a lot of interest, if that's ok with people? I don't know anyone from this site, but I've managed to convince the good lady to come along and see MB World.

Better to eat at the local golf club, "Silvermere". Cheaper than dinner at MB World!

Not as far as I know. I really meant to eat at the pub on the grounds.

hawk20, MIW615 & Mr Teddy Bear I have added you to the list over Here

As far as what the plan is, its all still to be sorted but the general idea is to meet at around 11am have a chat take pictures.
Grab some food (pub on grounds sounds good Ninja?), explore MB World then a nice drive in (hopefully) the sun.

Any ideas/suggestions are most welcomed and needed, if possible can you post these over at SLKWorld.com.

    Thanks all.

Apparently there is a lot more to MB World than I realised. It is easy to see it as a car showroom plus a few older (and interesting) cars. Apparently there are guides for a modest fee. Any thoughts of guided tour for those who want it? Just a thought.

    The pub is here:
    http://www.silvermere-golf.co.uk/index.asp

    (10 minutes from MB World.)

Could have lunch there then drive over to MB World.

Re MB World tours, I don't think you really need a tour. Everything is sign-posted and there are info sheets on the show stuff.

As for a drive after MB World, I am not sure where we could drive to. Newlands Corner, maybe? (A3 -> M25 -> A24?) I am a bit nervous of doing convoys - it attracts the wrong sort of attention from BiB because they know we would drive a bit more enthusiastically than they'd like!

OK. I'm convinced. Must read the info first instead!

Thanks Ninja, I know what you mean about the BiB.
In the past the BiB have been really good, on one occasion when I had my MX5 and we had a massive MX5 meet in central London the BiB came over to us to chat about our cars and just said 'Have fun but be good'!
Maybe we could have a few small convoys, I for one value my licence and won't be driving too enthusiastically. :D

With regards to the pub do you think we would need to pre book or can we just turn up?
