Though the Brabus one was decently quick!

From everything I can find online, the Brabus has the same 89bhp as all the others. It seems to be almost a trim level on the smart. (I could of course be wrong).

89bhp should be plenty in what is effectively a roller skate though!

Gen 1 had 177ps which made it good for 0-60mph in 6.9s
Gen 2 has 107hp.

Just to update, she test drove the Smart at the weekend and she's now looking for a Polo...

I agree, I suggested the DSG (I had it in a Passat and an Octavia), but being her first car, she wants to get used to driving a manual before she gets an Auto.

We’ll, we’ve found a Polo that she likes. I don’t suppose anyone knows of a VW VIN decoder I could use? Ta.
