Hello
I'm struggling to trace the source of a faint raw fuel smell at the front of the engine bay. The car is a 1993 S124 E280 with an M104 engine on approx 80k Miles. The smell is strongest just behind the fan between the air filter box and the block. I've removed the filter housing and checked the fuel pressure regulator, the injector rail and the fuel pump hoses/pipes at the rear of the car but I cannot find evidence of a leak anywhere. Anyone else have any experience with this?
Thanks Sam
