I take it you've checked the obvious stuff like is it using oil and any issues with the air filter or intake?
Also, given that injectors can be tested and reconned - why did you replace them?

First of all, what colour is the smoke?
White, Blue, Black?

Does it smoke at idle, under acceleration or deceleration?

if its white smoke then it could be pump timing is out assuming the pump was messed with, assuming smoke coming out of the exhaust and not engine area.
Is the car performing ok otherwise.

white smoke isn't fuel afaik, thats black (soot), oil is blue and white is normally steam. (experts - put me right here if I'm off beam) Is it using water?
The last car I had kicking out white smoke needed a head gasket.

Have a look at this

If it was mine a compression test is the first thing to have done. That'll give you some indication.

Why were the injectors tested/ checked? Was performance down?

no perfomance wasnt down, the job started because of a blown copper inj seal after putting it back together it smoked badly thinking it was over fueling,i had the inj tested i was informed after 60 quid they were all faulty ,1 was not working, 1was under fueling, and 2 were over fueling ,

No idea whereabouts in the country you are, but Diesel Bob may be able to help you, if you can get it to him?

I take it you have already given it a good road test and a good burn out, if it is driving and running ok and isnt using water, excessive oil or diesel I would use a quality injection cleaner and drive it for a week or so...and then refill with a known quality fuel..

an impossible task, as it undriveable, when i say smoke, mean pea soup, apart from the smoke it runs and sounds sweet as a nut,

Any possibility that you are getting unburnt fuel into the exhaust..

If the car was running ok and 'the performance wasnt down' up until the blown injector copper seal then i would suspect a mis-diagnosis on the original injectors......from the description above where you say 1 wasnt working, 1 was underfuelling and 1 was overfuelling the car would have been running very roughly prior to you fitting the new injectors......also, because of the problem you have, i wonder if the new injectors are the correct ones?

Try fitting the old ones back and see what happens.

Just an afterthought......is it possible to fit the electrical plugs to each injector in the wrong order?
