Snapped Emblem

Some kind person has snapped off the star emblem on my 2003 W203 220cdi. Is replacing it a possible DIY task and if so does anyone have instructions.

I think theres a spring clip you maneuver from under the bonnet to release the target

As I understand it, a pair of pliers on the clip underneath, push up against the spring and turn.
That said, pop into your local dealer (the best place to get a replacement) and ask nicely, they'll normally swap it for you foc. They're not expensive.

Emblem

Thanks jberks -all geared up to do the task and my local dealer is out of stock so part now on order. My car looks very sad without its three pointed star.
