Just put my on. Defo not a 2 minute job. The jack was a great help/ trick. I wondn't like to put them on late in a dark corner tho, its not that "easy" on fat tyres...
Also the anti roll bar links touch the elastic at the back, they might not last that long because of this :(
To be tested soon :)

Back from a wee trip. They are GREAT! I went up and down the hills no bother. The grip is fantastic.
Also:
The material does already show a little bit of wear. Not much but I like to point this out.
At 25mph there is a flapping noise coming from them.
Easier to remove then to put on.
If you got them, take a wee bucket with you as when you take them off they are full of slugge and dirt. Better to get a little container to put them in.
I just rince them and they are now drying.
Trully, great bit of kit to keep you going. :)

they do indeed look like dummies, as As400 said he got few odd look, me too...
I am still really impressed with those :)
This is easy to forget that you are moving easily because of them and that they do not help braking at all... Need to be aware.

Agreed with Crockers, I thought of that too. Better not leave them over night on the car...

On the sport, can you fit 17" std wheels with snow tyres or wil you get brake clearance issues?

Mine I am afraid to say are no more.

It seems that driving on roads with little/no ice caused one to dissapear and the following day the other to get caught on something behind the wheel necessitating a pair of scissors to detach.

Ain't no getting around it, if your seriously concerned about snow and ice a second set of winter tyres are the only way to go.

Got you out of a few binds do

Winter tyers are the best thing to do get a set off steal rims from breakers yard get four tyre's and off you go no prob

In Norway you see lovely merc's with crap wheels on as soon as it drops around 7 deg
Only till gone back over that do you see the bling wheels back on

Makes sense do
