Soft top replacement

Hi there, I need to replace the plastic windows in the soft top of my 1986 300 SL (107) and have found quite a good price for a compleat new hood. I was wondering if anyone had experience of fitting a new hood themselves and may be able to offer some advice?

Timmo, if your German is any good, have a shufti at the 107SL Freunde, and Sternzeit 107 sites in Germany. They've done everything, and the sternzeit usually has a photo layout to go with it somewhere in the index.
