New member who would greatly appreciate any help. I have a 200c coupe kompressor 2002, with an automatic transmission problem which is a hard shift up between 1 and 2. the fluid and filter have been changed by MB fault codes checked non showing. solinoid valve assembly checked by independant MB mechanic, and still stumped, only 46000 miles on the clock well serviced.
Thought MB built the best auto gear box in the world! Thought wrong!

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like a speed sensor fault in the box, but would show a fault. Are you confident that the codes havent't been cleared before reading them - i.e the only way to check again is have the codes read again.

Failing that, could be a MAF.....

Thanks but Im pretty sure the codes are clear as the guy is recognized as being very good and he still thinks it is the valve assembly, although not £400.00 plus fitting sure.
May have to just bite the bullit and hope for the best.
Cheers.

Get the codes read again before going up the valve block route. Not unheard of to fail, but not a common fault.

Don't be afraid to seek a second opinion.
