I've read about the oil tracking into the ECU on SLKs here somewhere but can't find the thread. Can anyone point me to it? I'm after finding out where it is and whether I can spot it happening before it gets into the ECU. My SLK is a 230 @ 1998? Will this be affected?
Second oddity is that one of the masses of decorative grommets on the steps/sill tops (below the door openings) has gone AWOL, leaving a hole through into the sill. Would an MB dealer stock these or will I have to go somewhere else for one? Thought they were plastic stick-ons until this one ran away.......
Third thing is the red coming off of the dash in assorted places - I'm about to try Frosts or Woolies Trim - anybody tried these?
