Almost. I only learn things the really hard way, a liberal helping of phsyical pain normally helps.

Did you get a response from those chaps with the fancy mods?

Will you go the whole hog and have Lexus style lights on the back as well - then I think you will definitely qualify for the Chav of the Year award! ;)

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
I reckon the light output from those would be worse than the standard units, and I reckon they'd fill up with water as well :)

Did you go for the black birds-eye trim Malcolm? ;)

Not decided yet, but I have heard from the firm, they do a steering wheel in the carbon fiber look also in birds eye, I have ordered some other bits, I am still thinking

You cant go wrong for £189 !

Be prepared for poor quality though, and they are probably for LHD (USA/EUROPEAN) cars, and they may not have a lever to switch to UK (RHD) dipped beam . They may have a lever to give you a horizontal dipped beam, which will pass the MOT, but you will lose the normal 15 degree "kick up to the left" beam pattern

:p

ps forgot to add I would bet on my mortgage, if I had one :D , that they are made in Taiwan (MIT), and allow water to leak in ;)

I have seen the light again. I am back on the Pepsi Max rather than the full fat cokes. Feeling all normal again.

I am also glad to confirm that my car is exactly as Mercedes intended it, except for wheels from the Elegance model.

BTW, I am the master at importing goods and avoiding the duty and tax. During my drag racing years I must have imported 30k of bike bits with less than £100 paid in duty and tax*

I'm glad you asked. :D

This is a turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa. 550hp on full boost. I'm looking down at the rev counter as that was my first run on it at low boost and just checking things out.

This is my streetbike, with a few tweaks. London City Airport is the venue.

Here's a couple of movies of my local 'Sprint' in Guernsey. It's a 1/4 track only half of which is straight. The bikes are either a 1500cc hayabusa, or a very early version of the turbo hayabusa.

Hope you're coming down to Brighton on Saturday then Peter for the Brighton Speed Trials!

BTW pedants may like to know that aftermarket headlights that aren't E-marked are illegal in the EEC

Brighton Speed Trials??

Are these for motorists who have been caught doing over the limit?

If so - there must be a LOT of offenders for the Courts to be open on a Saturday :)

Nice bikes Peter. I notice the absence of a pillion seat on the blue one.

Have you given up touring on it?
