Spare Keys

Is there any one in west london who cuts keys for a 1989, 300 sl (107), as i dont really want to go to a stealership. The keys in question are the basic ones without any electronic gizmo, i have been to a few specialists with not much joy. Thanks

any good key cutting place should do one if it's just a basic metal key. I had one made recently for my '95 124 and it works perfectly. If you do go to the dealership, it's only something like £12 for one.

Hi Thanks for your reply, the key is not like a normall one with a jagged edge on either side, the key in question has a central groove through the middle, with waht looks like a lazer cut, channel on each edge.

your key sounds the same type as my 124 one, should be able to get one done easily.

Hi, keys like yours can be cut by a decent keycutter with the lazer cut.........no problemo.£8
