Spark plug leads.

When refitting spark plug leads the general view is to apply some Dielectric grease to aid future removal. Is there an alternative lubricant eg Vaseline etc.

I think Vaseline would just melt and burn away with the intense heat.
I'd get the real stuff.

If you must use something use a spray of silicone lubricant.
