spark plug leads

Just a thought with winter coming on but is there any reason why you have to use mercedes leads or will the "normal" ones from Halfrauds do the job.

As long as the leads are the same type, no use any.

Thanks Malcolm I think I"ll replace mine it seemed a bit strange that there would be "special" leads what do you mean by the same type?

Some leads have a solid conductor, the others are resistive with conductor of carbon string. though the car will run on either I think that you will need the carbon string version otherwise you will never stop the interferencea and some ignition systems are designed for these leads.
