Standing on the brink of March, my thoughts turn to shiny summer car. I've just ordered a Bilt Hamber sheepskin mitt and a couple of large drying cloths. I don't really need them, I've already got both...but they're so last year.

Me too.

I can't wait for a few sunny rain free days so I can get the wheels off and really give the car its first thorough clean/polish/wax and seal.

Over winter I've collected a DA polisher, polishing pads, detailing brushes, more microfibre cloths and towels etc.
The missus thinks I've gone mad:D

I didn't say anything about applying this new technology. Ownership was my only boast. Anyway, my car is resting at MBS Southampton after a rain soaked run down the A3 this morning, so not looking it's loveliest and out of reach.

Now wondering if I've bought the wrong drying cloths. More travels through the web pages of suppliers led me to the Swissvax drying cloths. They're £25.00 each and boast red silk edging, so they must be better...

Swissvax - badge engineering, their cloths are no better than other brands, and their wax no better than cheaper alternatives. I bought a kit that included a glass microfibre cloth, Lakeland's is just as good, included Onyx wax (over £70 a tub), no better than AG HD!

Not all MF cloths are equal.

Shame they only ship to Canada and US, but good info, thanks.
