W212 2011 350 CDI
Hello all.

Im looking for some advice on what spring I have on my 2011 E350 CDI.

Yesterday whilst cleaning my car I heard what sounded like a scaff tube falling over. Went out with the dogs this morning and a big bit of spring fell out on to the road.

I dont have the bottle to replace the spring myself so am either going to purchase a replacement assembly, or new spring and take to my local garage.

The spring has a green dot and what looks like a reddish dot or stripe.

Can anyone help please?

You would not believe how complicated MB make this. Springs vary so much depending on what equipment you have fitted so for what it costs, I would recommend you get the main dealer to supply them.

I also would get someone to fit them as they are highly compressed and usual require a hydraulic compressor.

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- 1.2 vauxhall Corsa 2021 ,orange with a black roof. .
Ring a dealer , give them your reg and they'll work it out on their chart , they should by rights tell you red dot ,green dot. The dealer prices on springs are not too bad ,and they will outlast any other brands what euro car parts will sell you.

The other side might have more easily identified coloured dots

On a 2011 car you should really be replacing the springs in pairs. If you do that the coloured dots become a lot less important (just buy a pair). In fact I suspect a new correctly colour coded spring won't match a worn spring with the same dots.
