sprinter 308d brake lights

Hi all, I have a 98 308 lwb sprinter that has a couple of electrical faults.
1. Fuses 5 & 6 keep blowing leaving no brake or reverse lights. Could this be a relay fault and where would they be located?
2. Off side tail light works on side lights but goes off when headlights switched on.
Any suggestions most appreciated.

sounds like (1)faulty earth wire (2) live wires are earthing causing the blowing fuses. check wireing harness for soundness

I have a problem with the electrics on my 03 sprinter 311 cdi
the drivers side side light & tail light are not coming on bulbs are ok they come on in park mode
any ideas please
also engine is lacking power on hill climb
