Sprinter 311 cdi oil spitting problem

hi to all, i have a sprinter 311 cdi and my problem is there is oil spitting out of the filler neck when i take the cap off,has anyone got any idea what is causing this,it is not using oil and starts and runs o.k,i was thinking it might be the crank case breather,so if anyone can help i would be very grateful,thanks Terry.

try not removing the cap with the engine running

probably just the cam chain flinging the oil round like it is supposed to
