Hi all,
I have a 97 sprinter 310D that when you start it, it just runs flat out.
I bought the van as a non runner, with a fuel leak back fault. (the person fixing it could not time it up after having the pump repaired). I've had the pump checked myself electrically and it functions ok. I've also had the ECU checked and there were no fauls found. I have checked the throttle potentiometer and all the resistances are in spec. I have also cleaned the MAF sensor.
It starts, but then revs flat out. When you turn the ignition on, the actuator in the pump goes to flat out and stays there.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Michael
