squeaking heater on w124

i have a w124 200te and the heater sqeaks intermittently if i turn it all the way up it stops i can then reduce it but then after a while it starts again.
could anyone give me a headsup on this issue
also does anyone know how to change the drivers elec window motor

the only thing you can do with the heater blower is to take it out and lubricate the bearings, it is a bit of a pig to take out, but there are plenty of postings here on that subject.

Re motor for window, if you take the door card off, you will have access to the motor where you can test to see if it is the motor or limit switches that are faulty.

If you do a search of this forum you'll find lots of posts on these topics

Normally with the heater motor the bearings and/or brushes are worn out. Once you can see it and give the fan shaft a wiggle you'll be able to see how bad it is. If it's badly worn just replace the whole motor assembly with a good s/h part - it's the easiest fix. Worn brushes can be replaced by any competent auto electrician
