SRS Light Odd Behaviour

Since I had the steering wheel off to fit a new Multifunction Stalk the SRS light has been behaving oddly. Comes on when the ignition is turned on and goes off again immediately the car starts after about 10 seconds it come back on and then goes back off after about a minute - doed this indicate a fault?

This indicates that a non-critical fault code has been stored in the SRS control unit , your SRS system is still functioning correctly but for peace of mind you should have the codes read and cleared.
Probable cause is that the ignition was turned on while the airbag was disconnected.
