Have been told by main dealer that sensor pad on passenger seat is worn and needs replacing. Costs for part is £160 plus VAT . Total fitting cost is over £400 as the seat needs to be taken apart. Has anyone else experienced this problem or could anyone else recommend where i may find a cheaper quote in sw London or Surrey. Any help would be much appreciated,
Danny Maclaren

Do check that the wires going up to the seat are not broken, the last one was and the wiring was repaired, but yes the pad can fail.

I dismantled my SL seat in 20 mins for the first time (took off the leather) so £400 is stupid, someone will point you to a good indie in london.

If you do not get an answer, re post with headline "Wanted Indie in London"
