My w203 51 plate currently refuses to turn over. I looked at SAM-UNITs DIY about the fuse etc and have checked the following...
The fuse is the original 15 amp, but hasn't blown.
There is a good earth between the chassis and engine, so not the earth strap fault commonly seen on the MLs.
The battery voltage is showing a good 12.4v
When the key is turned, I get about 12v on the trigger wire to the starter, so am I right to think that it's the starter motor itself?
If so, could anybody help with a paper how to replace the starter motor and any hints re access etc.
Many thanks !!!
