I have a mercedes A class 150 ,four years old (05) with 40,000 miles on the clock.I am the second owner ,brought from dealer as demo.
I am worried because my starter motor has failed and it is going to cost me £1800 to fix ,£700 for new starter and £1100 for damage to fly wheel etc. Mercedes is going to pay £1100 as a god will gesture and i have to find the rest.My question is should a starter motor go this quick and if not who should pick up the bill. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
