Had some issues with a low battery in the boot of my R230 so am charging it with a CTEK charger at the moment. Just wondered if I had to buy a new one what the price would be so took a photo of it and the battery model is A0009823108 (Genuine Merc part).
However, when I google this part number, it says its a STARTER battery??
Im now wondering if when I bought the car a couple of years ago they had the wrong battery installed. The roof and all electrics have worked ok since i bought it but the fact its coming up on google as a starter battery is worrying......
Anyone know what the correct part number is for the Aux battery in the boot? and whether I'm correct that part number A0009823108 is a starter battery only and shouldnt be in the boot as an Aux battery?
For info, the Starter battery in the front of my car is also a genuine mercedes battery, this number is A2305410001
