Here Goes

I have a C200 97.

Problem started 2 weeks ago when I start up the car. If it is started from cold. Engine pinks and revs die. When the engine warms up to around (80 degrees)there is no problem and the car runs perfect. If I start it about 4 times I can set off to drive butr I am reduced to walking pace.

I have had a diagnosic check (all ok), replaced the temp sender unit on the block (problem became worse). Changed the plugs and air filter, cleaned everything i can think of, replaced the battery etc etc.

I have asked the dealer about cold start valves and I do not have any on my engine (111 model).

Can anyone shed any light on this. I am really fed up now, all I want is my car back to normal.

Cheers

Does anyone haver any idea what this may be.
