Starts then stops...

Hi
I have a C270 estate, 02, 134000 miles no problems until now. The car starts runs for a couple of seconds from cold and then stops. will it start again!!!! turnover until either it starts and runs all day perfect or the battery goes flat winding it over. If it does start before the battery goes flat it is brill. Can anyone shed any light on this? I have already changed the glow plugs but no different?

sounds like you have air in the system check the fuel line's & filter + bleeding valve ect for faults. loose. damage

As above or the injectors are leaking off too much.

Hi To both who replied.
Now sorted thanks to you it was 2 bad injectors. Found by leak testing. Can you help again? the car is now surging and not running smooth when cold. It has don this before but not as bad as now. Hopefully this should be it???
