Hi
Bit of a blag this but it is genuine. I need to refurbish my 8 hole alloys on my 190E. I use the car all the time so to do this i would need to use other wheels. Would anyone, hopefully living near to the north east, have some steel wheels spare that i could use? A local tyre centre will do ultra cheap tyres to fit short term while i sort my alloys out so if these can be either a loan or free to a good home, i would be very grateful.
I thought it would be helpful in general for me to photograph the work in restoring my alloy wheels and upload it here as a sort of 'How-To' guide. None of the process is terribly difficult, it's more about care and patience with preparing for powder coating and removing dings and scrapes is a fine art but not rocket science.
If anyone can help me out i would be most grateful and if there is anything i could do in return i would be very happy to oblige.
